Christmas is coming! Last Sunday was the Christmas Home Tour, & today was Santa Claus Day at the VFW. Starting at 2pm the SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) were helping the young kids with games & face painting, while some parents & kids were watching a movie.
At 3pm kids were lined up to tell Santa what they wanted for Christmas. Santa had a new outfit this year-from head to toe. Parents & kids were treated to Christmas treats & punch.
Kim Meckle, Secretary/Treasurer of the Anamoose Civic Club, organized the event. The VFW auxiliary furnished the lunch & supplies for activities, & the Civic Club was in charge of Santa & the gift bags. 
The SADD group had filled all the bags. What a great way to combine resources!!
